Easter is only a couple of weeks away. Don't leave money on the table or your guests guessing if you are open!

If you want to be fully booked on Easter,  here's what not to do and what to do instead!

1. Telling guests you are closed, inadvertently.

Update your holiday hours on Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Bing, Yahoo, Siri, Apple Maps (Etc)

- Even if your hours are the same this Sunday as any other Sunday, listings providers like the above consider it a public holiday and require you to confirm holiday hours.

Not taking this move will add RED text to your profile that says the hours listed may be wrong. Don't do that to your guests. If you aren't fully booked yet, why would you tell people to look elsewhere?

Doing this will add GREEN text to your profile confirming your hours.

PS THIS APPLIES TO ALL RESTAURANTS

**Pro-tip** Use Marqii and make it super easy.

2. Hope is not a marketing plan.

Have some reservations still available?  PROMOTE!!

Don't: Do nothing and hope they fill up.

Good options:

  • Send an email to your subscribers
  • Update social feed every other day and on opposite days, post to stories
  • Send an SMS

These brands get it!

3:  Leaving money on the table.Upsell in advance. Get your guests to upgrade their experience in advance.

Don't: Do nothing and get what you get. It'll probably be a good day, but how much are you leaving on the table?

You already know they are coming. You already have their email address. What else can you offer?- Glasses of champagne waiting at the table, custom bouquet of flowers, mini-Easter basket or coloring book for kids? People will pay for the convenience of you doing it for them.

What are you doing to drive more revenue this Easter?
